"Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what."
I came to the US with my family in 1982. I was 8 years old. My parents had family in Concord and that is how we ended up in the Bay Area. It was hard at first. I missed my friends and family. It didn't take long for me to learn the language and I became a true American girl. I attended El Monte elementary in Concord, Walnut Creek Intermediate and Las Lomas High in Walnut Creek. I love the Bay Area and I can't imagine life anywhere else. In my spare time I enjoy cooking. I love music and like reading when I have the time.

Mitra White
I'm a Bay Area Native, born in Napa and raised in Vacaville. I'm the oldest of 2 children. After high school, I was fortunate to land a sales role and traveled around the country. I've been to 33 of the lower 48 states. Upon returning to Northern California, I became fascinated with the wine industry. I have worked in the industry for the last decade in various sales roles and love what I do. In my free time I enjoy playing the ukulele for my family, softball, and mixing music.

Meet Our Family
Mitra and Richard met in 2006. Two years later he moved in with Mitra's family, so she could pursue her degree full time. This is when they adopted Tini the cat. They tied the knot in 2010. Shortly after Mitra finished school, they moved into an apartment in Walnut Creek and Kaiser the dog joined their family. Tini accepted Kaiser into the household without hesitation and they have been brothers ever since. In 2012, with help from their family, Mitra and Richard purchased their first home. Once they settled into their new home, they started trying for a baby. Soon after, they were blessed with their daughter.
